February 2022 Newsletter

Happy February!  I hope that each of you is doing well and staying healthy.  2022 is already shaping up to be a year of change, with conferences bunching up in the summer and organizations attempting to determine when, if, and how to return to some sense of normalcy.
 Seeking Treasurer

Sadly, Kevin Paul has stepped down as our chapter treasurer.  Kevin has guided us through the challenges of 501c3 paperwork and has diligently maintained our books for the past year.  We are extremely grateful for all he has done to support the Chapter.

If you are interested in serving on our leadership board, as treasurer or in another role, please let us know by sending an email to info@easttn-isc2chapter.org.
 No February Social

Since the third Tuesday in February would be February 15 (The day after Valentines Day), we have chosen not to have a social gathering this month.  Make sure you plan something special for that person in your life or for yourself this week.

We will resume socials in April.
 March Speaker

We are pleased to announce that our speaker for March will be one of the founding members of our chapter, the world renown Joe Gray!  Normally we associate Joe with OSINT, and he has shared some amazing insight into that area.  However, this month we will be learning about investigations associated with cryptocurrency.

Mark your calendar to join us virtually on Tuesday, March 15.  More details will be shared closer to the date.
CISSP Study Group

I will soon be hosting a CISSP study group.  If you are interested in participating, please email info@easttn-isc2chapter.org and let me know what times/days of week work best for you!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Sincerely,
John Helt
