Thank you Nate Ruehs for sharing your experiences with ransomware incident response. On January 18, Nate shared in our Chapter’s lunch and evening meetings about his experiences with ransomware as both the victim and as 3rd party consultant.

If you missed it, stay tuned for future virtual meetups on the 3rd Tuesday of every odd month (January, March, May, July, September, & November). We have excellent speakers who cover topics relevant to current threats and modern infosec concerns.

I will admit that virtual meetups lack the opportunities to network and interact which many of us crave. With that in mind, we are starting something new this year, and will be hosting in-person social events on even numbered months. Details for our February social will be shared soon in the monthly Chapter Newsletter and in our channel on 10-sec Slack.
